These beautiful rare illustrations from 19th century Scottish zoologist James Duncan’s British Moths and Sphinxes (Naturalist’s Library) arrived today. Unfortunately the book was too damaged to sell but the wonderful plates are intact so, excitingly, will be one of the the first lot of illustrations available to buy when the etsy store goes live any day now. I think they may fly out. Flutter flutter!
